Information Center of Neveklov
In January 2002 the operationof Neveklov information center was launched among the first ones in Benešov region, its founder being the Association of Neveklov Area Municipalities. As ofthe 27 January 2013 the Representation of the town of Neveklov approved the dissolution of the Association of Neveklov Area Municipalities and the transfer of its information center under theTown of Neveklov.
Besides information concerning tourism, culture, sports, ticket booking on Ticketportal network and for selected regional events, visitors can use public internet; copying, printing and scanning services; they can buy regional publications, souvenirs, maps and choose from over 150 types of postcards – which is appreciated mainly by collectors; a wide range of free tourist promotional materialis also at disposal.
In the infocenter you can buy tourist cards, stamps and stickers of Neveklov as well as magnets, coins, sticklabels, badgesor a reproduction of Neveklov aerial view shot. Tourists are also interested in tourist stamps, stickers and cards with Neštětická hora lookout tower and the Club of Czech Tourists card with Neštětické hora too. Tourist stamps, cards and stickers of a nearby Slapy Reservoir is at visitors disposal as well.
An exhibition of pictures by a local painter and graphic artist Miroslav Mašek has been installed at the infocenter for several years. Nontraditional painted postcards are also worth mentioning. Other exhibitions are equally organized here throughout the year.
The infocenter was certified in June 2017 in the system of the Common Classification of tourist information centers of the Czech Republic; it became a holder of category C certificate. The certification was awarded by the Association of tourist information centers of the Czech Republic (A.T.I.C. ČR) together with CzechTourism.
